It was a tough debut run for Show ‘Em Howl back in July. But he went to the paddock and matured nicely over the lengthy break.
The untapped 3YO returned and trialled well but saved his best for race day. The son of Showtime lived up to his dad’s name with a showtime performance at Taree over the 1000m.
From the awkward gate, Anna Roper went back to the tail of the field, got moving with 500m to go and that was all she wrote. The pair swinging the widest and reeling in runner after runner and saluting by 1.82L.
